And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

  9. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
  10. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
  11. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
  12. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
  13. Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
  14. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
