Mark 12:35

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?

  5. And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
  6. And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
  7. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
  8. And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
  9. Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
  10. Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
