Luke 6:11

And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

  8. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
  9. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
  10. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
  11. When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
  12. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
