Luke 11:40

Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

  10. How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
  11. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
  12. Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
  13. The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
  14. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
  15. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

  17. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
