And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

  7. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  8. Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
  9. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
  10. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
  11. But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
  12. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
  13. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
  14. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
