Leviticus 26:11

And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

  6. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
  7. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
  8. Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God.
  9. I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
  10. But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
  11. When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:
  12. But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved. And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.
  13. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
  14. Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.
  15. The LORD hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.
  16. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
  17. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
