Leviticus 2:4

And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

  8. Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God; Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
  9. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
  10. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
  11. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
  12. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
  13. Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.
  14. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
  15. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
  16. Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
  17. Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
  18. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
  19. Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
  20. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
