And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

  10. And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
  11. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
  12. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
  13. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.
  14. For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.
  15. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
  16. For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.
  17. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
  18. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
  19. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
