Lamentations 3:26

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

  10. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
  11. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

  13. For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
  14. For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
  15. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
  16. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
  17. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
