Judges 16:28

And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name. Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
  8. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
  9. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
  10. For the LORD will not cast off for ever: But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
  11. Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
