John 9:16

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

  7. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
  8. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
  9. Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
  10. The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
  11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
  12. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
  13. But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
