Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
  9. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
  10. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
  11. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
  12. Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
  13. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
  14. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
  15. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
  16. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
  17. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
  18. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
  19. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
  20. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
  21. And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
