John 8:49

Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

  7. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
  8. Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
  9. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
  10. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
  11. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
