And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

  8. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
  9. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
  10. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
  11. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
  12. Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
  13. Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
  14. He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
