John 17:17

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

  12. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

  14. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
  15. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
  16. And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
  17. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
  18. If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
  19. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
  20. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
  21. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
  22. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
