John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
  12. And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
  13. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
  14. Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
  15. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

  17. Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
  18. And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
  19. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
  20. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
  21. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
  22. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
  23. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
  24. Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
  25. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
  26. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
  27. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
  28. And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
  29. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
  30. Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
  31. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
  32. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
  33. To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
  34. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
  35. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  36. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
  37. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
  38. And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
