John 14:13

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

  9. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
  10. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
  11. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
  12. I and my Father are one.
  13. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
  14. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
  15. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
  16. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
  17. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
  18. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
  19. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
  20. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
  21. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
  22. In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
  23. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  24. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
  25. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  26. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
  27. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
  28. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
  29. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
  30. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
  31. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
  32. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
  33. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
  34. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
  35. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
