John 12:17

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

  7. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
  8. Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
  9. Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
  10. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
  11. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
  12. This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
  13. Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
  14. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
  15. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
