And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.

  10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
  11. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
  12. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
  13. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
  14. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
