My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

  4. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
  5. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
  6. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
  7. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
  8. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
  9. And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
  10. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
  11. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
  12. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
  13. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
  14. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
  15. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
  16. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
  17. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
  18. Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
  19. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
  20. But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
  21. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
  22. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
  23. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
  24. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
