Job 9:17

For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
  5. So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
  6. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
  7. I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
  8. Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.
  9. Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
  10. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
  11. The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
  12. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
  13. So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
  14. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
  15. Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
  16. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
  17. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
  18. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
  19. Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
  20. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
