Job 9:15

Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.

  7. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
  8. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
  9. Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more: That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
  10. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
  11. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
  12. O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
  13. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
  14. Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
