Job 31:4

Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

  1. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
  2. For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?
  3. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
  4. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
  5. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

  9. Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
  10. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
  11. Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
  12. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
