Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

  5. He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
  6. When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
  7. They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
  8. Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:
  9. In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
  10. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
  11. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
  12. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
  13. In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.
  14. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
