Job 19:5

If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:

  1. Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
  2. For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

  9. This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
  10. The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
  11. Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
  12. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
  13. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
  14. They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
