Job 12:10

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

  6. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
  7. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
  8. If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
  9. Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
  10. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
  11. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
  12. Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
