Jeremiah 36:5

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:

  7. So Jeremiah abode in the court of the prison until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken.
  8. And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
  9. For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
  10. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
  11. Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
  12. And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
