Isaiah 6:2

Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

  10. For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
  11. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
  12. And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
  13. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
  14. Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
  15. Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
  16. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
  17. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

  19. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
  20. And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
  21. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
  22. Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
  23. And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
  24. And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
  25. Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
  26. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
  27. Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
  28. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
  29. And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
  30. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
  31. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
  32. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
  33. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
