Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

  2. Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
  3. Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:
  4. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
  5. But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
  6. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
  7. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
  8. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
  9. If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
  10. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
  11. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
  12. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
  13. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
  14. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
  15. He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
  16. The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
  17. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
  18. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  19. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
  20. But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
  21. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
  22. Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
  23. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
  24. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
  25. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
