Hosea 9:11

As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

  9. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
  10. Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
  11. He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
  12. As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
  13. If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.
