Hebrews 1:9

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

  9. For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
  10. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
  11. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
  12. He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
  13. Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
  14. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
  15. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
  16. For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
  17. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
  18. And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
  19. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
  20. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
  21. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
  22. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
  23. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
  24. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
  25. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
  26. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
  27. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
  28. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
  29. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
  30. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
  31. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
  32. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
  33. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
  34. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
  35. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
  36. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
