Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.

  6. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
  7. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
  8. I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
