But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

  1. Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
  2. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
  4. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
  5. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
  6. Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
  7. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
  8. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
  9. A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
  10. Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
  11. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
  12. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
  13. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
  14. The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
  15. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
  16. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
  17. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
