And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

  9. He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
  10. That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
  11. And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
  12. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

  14. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
  15. And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
  16. And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
  17. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
  18. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
  19. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
