Genesis 31:55

And early in the morning Laban rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed them: and Laban departed, and returned unto his place.

  10. And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
  11. And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
  12. Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
  13. For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
  14. And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
  15. Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
  16. When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
  17. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
