Ezekiel 7:10

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

  10. Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
  11. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
  12. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
  13. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
