Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

  3. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
  4. Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
  5. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
  6. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
  7. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
