Exodus 9:2

For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

  1. And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
  2. And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
  3. Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:
  4. But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
  5. And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
  6. And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
  7. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
  8. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
  9. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
  10. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
  11. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
  12. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
