Exodus 7:4

But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

  8. Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.
  9. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
  10. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
  11. Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day.
  12. For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
  13. And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  14. And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
  15. Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  16. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
  17. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
  18. For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
