Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
  8. My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and are spent without hope.
  9. For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
  10. Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
  11. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
  12. And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
  13. That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
  14. So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
  15. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
  16. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
  17. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
  18. But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
  19. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
  20. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
