Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
  6. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
  7. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
  8. When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
  9. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
  10. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
  11. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
  12. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
  13. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
  14. And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
  15. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
  16. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
  17. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
  18. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
  19. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
  20. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
  21. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
  22. Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
