Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

  6. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
  7. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
  8. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
  9. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
  10. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
  11. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
  12. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
  13. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
  14. Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
  15. That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
  16. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
  17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
  18. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
  19. Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
  20. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
  21. And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
  22. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
  23. Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
  24. Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
  25. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
  26. Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
  27. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
  28. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
  29. Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
  30. Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
  31. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
  32. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  33. And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
  34. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
  35. Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
  36. Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
  37. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  38. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
  39. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
  40. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
  41. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
  42. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
  43. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
  44. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  45. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
  46. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
  47. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
  48. But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
  49. Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
  50. Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
  51. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
