Deuteronomy 9:12

And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

  6. And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.
  7. They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
  8. But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
  9. O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
  10. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
