Deuteronomy 32:30

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

Then said Saul unto the people that were with him, Number now, and see who is gone from us. And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there.
  9. For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
  10. If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
  11. God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
  12. And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
  13. Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
  14. For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
  15. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
