Deuteronomy 32:19

And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day. Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.
  11. And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.
  12. You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
  13. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
  14. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
