Deuteronomy 12:20

When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

  7. And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
  8. And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
  9. But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
  10. And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
  11. Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

  18. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
  19. Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
  20. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
  21. And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
  22. For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
  23. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
