Daniel 9:21

Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

  8. Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
  9. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
  10. Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice. And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God,
  11. Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
  12. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
  13. Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
  14. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
  15. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
  16. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
  17. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
  18. Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
  19. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
  20. On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
  21. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
  22. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
