Colossians 4:2

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

  1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
  2. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
  3. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
  4. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
  5. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
  6. Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
  7. Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
  8. For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
  9. As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
  10. For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
  11. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  12. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
  13. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
  14. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
  15. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
  16. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
  17. Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
  18. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
  19. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
