Colossians 3:17

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

  10. Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
  11. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
  12. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
  13. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
  14. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
  15. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
  16. By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
  17. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
  18. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
  19. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
  20. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  21. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
  22. Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  23. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
  24. Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
  25. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
  26. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
  27. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
