Colossians 3:10

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

  9. Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
  10. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
  11. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
  12. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
  13. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
  14. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
  15. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
  16. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
  17. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
  18. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
  19. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
  20. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  21. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
  22. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
  23. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
  24. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
  25. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
  26. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
  27. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
